Family Photo

Our love for Tenley overwhelms us each day!

Mommy has been waiting patiently for me to be able to wear this outfit and boy did she take a lot of pics now that I wore it! It looks as cute as Mommy thought it would! Take a look at a FEW of the many pics Mommy did take!

C-A-P-S....CAPS! CAPS! CAPS!

So today was Tenley's first official Washington Capitals experience. Tenley, Griffy, Laurie and Mommy went to Kettler to watch the team practice and scrimage! The team looks good and we had a great time. Although I am a huge fan...I did sleep in Mommy's arms the whole time...instead of "watching"...I was just "dreaming" about my favorite players! Griffy was loving on me lots! He is so sweet and so cute. He would put my paci in when it fell out...tell me stories in the car...kiss my toes and cheek...and hold my hand. I just love little Griffy! Check out how much fun we had....the pictures tell the whole story!

Where has the time gone?

I feel as though I was doing a great job keeping up with my blog and look, it has been two weeks and I haven't written ANYTHING...and so much has happened like...

1) Grandma's Visit

2) Sally came to visit (1 month visit)

3) Tenley's shower

4) Doctor's Visit

5) Meeting Uncle Bear
6) Going to Beth Page

7) Photo Shoot # ????

8) Terri and April visit

9) Going to the Charles County Fair

So a quick synopsis of all major events above...

Grandma Witmer visited and I had so much fun with her! I don't get to see her a lot so I took every minute I could to cuddle with her. I showed her how I coo and smile really big. We took pictures for PaPa since he could be here. While Grandma Witmer was here, I had my big debut at my shower at Jenny's house! It was fantastic! Jenny's house looked beautiful as always and she went above and beyond! My cake was awesome! I got alot of great gifts. My current favorite is my laughing hippo and mommy loves my tickle monster book. We both love all my blankies! They are all sooo beautiful. Mostly though we are just thankful so many people cared enough to come and share in this special day for us.

While Grandma Witmer was here, Mrs. Sally stopped by to check on my progress and how Mommy and Daddy are holding up. She said it looked like everyone was well adjusted and that she will come back in November!

Now after my great weekend my mean mommy took me to the doctor and made me get THREE shots! I screamed and cried but once I calmed down I was a very good girl. My says I was a trooper! I even got to wear two really cool bandaids...snoopy and the tazmanian devil! I weighed in at 10 pounds 3.6 ounces (I don't eat a lot but I am still packing on the pounds!) and I am 22 inches long! Hopefully no more doctor visits until I am 4 months old!

On a better note...Uncle Bear came home from Afganistan and I got to cuddle with him and I just loved him lots. He is such a gentle and kind uncle! I am sad he is going back and can't wait for him to come home for good.

I also went to Beth Page campgrounds in Virginia for the day! It was a lot of fun! We hung out with all of our camping buddies like the Wade's, Kathleen and Billy, the Sheckles, etc...I can't wait until I can walk and talk and play with all the kids, go swimming and enjoy the big kid stuff! I also can't wait for Mommy and Daddy to get our very OWN camper so we can camp all the time!

This isn't anything new...but Mommy did a photo shoot for my 2 month birthday...some of the pics are pretty cute I must say myself!

Onwards...Terri and April came to visit Grand Pappy for his 60th birthday and they also got to meet me for the first time. April sang Old Mcdonald to me and the Barney song and I just loved it! I was so relaxed with her!

And last but not least...I went to the Charles County Fair today! It wasn't much fun for me yet because I am too small but...it was still great to say I went! We ran into a lot of our friends so I did get to hang out with people I love!

So as you can see I have been up to a lot! So much fun...so little time!

Church Excursion!

On Wednesday I went to church at Grace Luthern for the very first time! I was excited to meet some of my new friends. Unfortunately Pastor Lester wasn't there today but it was a good sermon either way. There was a little girl Mary there who is just one years old. She was very pretty and had the coolest blue eyes I have ever seen...atleast that is what Mommy says. Mommy said a prayer of Thanksgiving for me during communion and the Decon, who was filling in for Pastor, had a prayer for me too. It made me feel very special.

Pastor Buerk also said he is going to baptize me and he said it would be his honor to do so! I can't wait to meet Pastor and Jill! I just know I will love them lots!
